More than 30 of the same MAN engines in the fleet. Cornerpoint provides the parts for them.

A client of ours has more than 30 of the same engines in his fleet, MAN 2876LE301.

Cornerpoint takes care of the spare parts supply. 2 gensets have been fully dismantled for spares. 2pcs longblock that fits the ships engine room doors for emergency use, 2 spares alternators, flexible couplings, electronics and a lot more! For normal overhaul we keep 1 reconditioned set on stock to perform full overhaul when one of the engines is due. After reconditioning on board, the old parts are returned to Cornerpoint, where in consulation with Teus Vlot Diesel & Marine the parts are reconditioned or replaced.

Now a new serie of ships is built with Caterpillar and Volvo auxiliary engines. A same construction and preparations are made to perform quick service when needed.

Recently, we had a complete overhaul set for a Caterpillar 3406 sent to Antwerpen port, were in 2 days the engine was reconditioned by two Teus Vlot mechanics. The cylinder liners, fuel pump, cylinder heads, injection nozzles, waterpump, turbocharger and all the other required parts for an overhaul were replaced by new or exchange parts.
