Deutz 6m628 parts delivered in 19hours, 10.000km away

During drydocking our client discovered damage on his Reintjes gearbox, PTO drive shaft, driving gear and the complete clutch packed needed to be replaced.
Also the Deutz 6M628 main engine driving the gearbox was inspected and some liners needed to be replaced. Client requested “Old” execution liners that would fit their engine better. We have been able to trace a numbers of the old execution GENUINE liners. Besides that we supplied a brand new oil pump and the complete new geartrain for the engine.
When everything was dispatched client called 2 days later at 16:00 in the afternoon that they forgot to order additional liner sealing rings for the remaining liners of the engine. Within 1 hour the required sealing rings were traced. Collected by courier and delivered to our warehouse. At our warehouse another courier was waiting and flight documents were arranged. Package was delivered at AMS airport during the night for next days morning flight. Flight arrived 21:00 in the evening at Cape Town airport where the repair was carried out. Required goods were at destination 10.000km away within 19 hours after the call. Happy client that saved another day drydocking.
